My name is David Toney. I grew up in the Ashland Kentucky Area. I Graduated high school in 1987 and left for basic training in the United States Army in January 1988. I spent five years on active duty. In those five years I was fortunate enough to be stationed at Fort Dix New Jersey, Walter Reed Army Hospital (for AIT), Fort Bragg North Carolina, and Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa. While in Okinawa I was sent TDY (temporary duty) to Camp Jackson South Korea for PLDC (leadership course). While in the Army I worked in the field of Veterinary Medicine as a 91T10, Animal Care Specialist. In that job we mainly looked at and treated diseases that had zoonotic potential (transmissible from animal to man and vise versa). In that time in Okinawa I met a young lady that I would eventually marry and raise a family with. We have been married for 28 years and have raised two handsome sons. Now the fun part begins, we have two beautiful grand children that we are crazy about.

We have lived in east Tennessee since January 1994. I have been in the aluminum industry since October 1994 and have worked at Arconic (previously Alcoa) Since July 31st 2000.
